Elora! :)

A few weeks ago, Justin's sister Elora came to visit CA and stayed with us. We hadn't seen her in a while, so it was great to spend some time with her. :) I didn't post anything because I didn't think there were any pictures, but I just found some on my camera :)

This is Justin and Elora on their hike:

1 year Anniversary!

Yesterday we celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary, and 4 years together. :) We ate some lunch, laid out at the pool. Then we left the beautiful weather to get massages. They were amazing. Finally, we went to Roy's for dinner. Which is a "hawaiian fusion" restaurant. We have gone there every time we have been in Hawaii, and the food is amazing! :) They decorated our table for us, put a personalized "happy anniversary" letter in our menu:
and surprised us at the end by giving us a frame with our photo in it, along with a free dessert that said Happy anniversary on it... so cute! It was so nice and the best service ever! Anyway, here are some pics:

My surf & turf... AMAZING!

Little baby dessert:
Oh goodness, where to start?

Did I mention, I got a little blue box? Thanks honey! :)

My family came to visit from Utah this past weekend because of a death in the family. :(
So, they were only have for a couple of days, but we were so glad to see them. Most of all we were excited to meet Brinnley! :) I am in love with her and I was so glad to finally hold her AND feed her her first whole bottle! I felt pretty honored! Thanks Haylee... Well, Here are some pics:
Kayla, Mamasita (Nancy--my sister/mom), and Joshie.... Who is getting marrried in August! :)

Skaggalicious...minus Lauren and Cosette, Matthew's wife, who is due this month!

The fam, minus Nancy, who is taking the pic.

Excited Auntie! :)

How cute is her little head resting on her hand!?

I WANT ONE!!! Lol :) I'll just borrow them for now!

Our wedding pictures.....

I put together this website a while ago, and I never updated it since I started this blog, but I thought since it was still available I might as well share it with you guys. It was mainly to share our wedding pictures with our friends and family... so in case you haven't seen it and are interested, click the link below... If anything it will make you want to go to Hawaii... it was so beautiful there, even though it rained on our wedding day (that's good luck, right?---lol)

Kayla and Friends!

My niece Kayla and her two friends came to visit CA, and stayed with us last week. I never add new posts, because we usually are just working, and resting when not, but last week was fun seeing our niece, so I figured I could add a couple pictures I stole from her facebook page.

Kayla, with her new brown hair (She's usually a blondie)

One day when I was working... Justin took the girls to Aliso... They said the water was warm...but I don't believe it! They are crazy! :)

On my day off we all went and got mani/pedi's, and we all got neon colors! :) Then we went to Smokey's, a really yummy BBQ place in Dana Point for dinner.

We had fun with them here, and I wish I would have been able to spend more time with them, but I worked every day except for one!!!

Chapman University Graduation :)

This Sunday was my graduation from Chapman University with a Master's in Health Administration. I wasn't going to walk, but I'm glad I did, since I didn't for my Bachelors. It was nice because I did work really hard for it and it made it seem "real", if that makes sense. Anyway, here are some pictures, courtesy of my hubby Justin who was there to support me :) Thanks honey!!! Love you!

Happy Birthday Justin!

Yesterday was Justin's birthday, and he worked all day! So we went to dinner at the Chart House in Dana Point. We always feel like opposite food, especially when we cook at home. However, last night we ordered the same exact thing. Which, NEVER happens. Anyway, we had a nice dinner and came home to eat the Checkerboard cake I made him. The cake took probably 5 hours to make. Seriously, not including cooking time or chilling. And, it turned out dry, which made me sad, but it looked pretty. There pictures of it on my cooking blog (icravesweets) if you wanna see what a checkerboard cake is.
(At Dinner)

Getting ready to cut the cake... Happy Birthday Honey!

Brinnley Ann Skaggs

Okay, so my last post said that I got a new niece... (actually she's my "great" niece), but David is like my brother, so she is more like my regular niece, if that makes sense.

Anyway, I am proud of her and wanted to share some ADORABLE pictures of her!

Just born:

Awww....She's winking!!!!!

Awww...she's smiling!!!!

Oh my goodness! I wanna hold her so bad, you don't even know! It makes me want one! Ahhh! I'm baby crazy, stop letting me look at these pictures! LOL.... I have always loved babies though, so don't worry honey, I'm not getting any ideas! :)

They're just like us.

Justin has this thing about tucking our dogs in with blankets. I tell him not to bug them, but he says they like it. They don't get out of the covers when he does it, so maybe he's right...lol

Note: Kaiser doesn't usually sleep on the couch, but sometimes Justin feels bad for her b/c she's old and lays on the floor while Harley is cuddling with us on the couch, so he makes a "bed" for her. Now that I'm writing this, it's kind of embarrassing. I feel like I have to explain why we did this... for the most part, we thought it was funny. :)

Babies are Cute!

So, my nephew David and his wife Haylee had their first baby today! Her name is Brinnley... Yay! I decided to make her a baby bracelet. One is pink and the other is clear with white. It's kinda hard to tell in the pictures...you can click on them to see them bigger. This is my first attempt, so here is what they look like:

I CRAVE SWEETS!

Reese's Brownies

If you know me, you know I am addicted to sugar and bake stuff every chance I get. So I made a cooking blog called I Crave Sweets! It's just a blog about what I am baking and cooking ideas. I am new at this whole blog thing, so it's confusing and frustrating to try and get it to turn out the way you want it, but I'm learning as I go. Well, wish me luck, and enjoy! :)

It's the Weekend!

We had a super busy weekend, which made it go by a lot slower for some reason! Friday night we went over to our friend Derek and Amy's for a party at their house. Saturday we had some people over to watch the UFC fight, and today Justin had a flag football game, and they won! :) Here are some pictures of one of his football games, so you can see my man in action! :)

We don't have kids, but we have dogs :)

Hello Everyone!

Justin and I decided to do a blog since everyone in the world has one but us! :) I don't know how entertaining this will be, but since a lot of our friends and family don't live around here, it will be a good way for us to catch up with everyone...

Justin and I were married July 31, 2009 in Oahu, Hawaii. We currently live in Laguna Niguel with our 2 dogs, Kaiser (16 year old Shephard-mix): and Harley (1 1/2 year old puggle):

They are pretty much our children...yes we are "those" people. But until we have kids, that's how it's gonna be. (Oh, and about kids.....not for a while!)

Update on Justin:
Justin is working at an Investment firm. In his spare time he plays on a flag football team, he just got his 3rd stripe in Jiu Jitsu, he enjoys kickboxing with me and surf/skimboards as much as possible. He just got the HD Surf Hero video camera that is waterproof, and he is so excited to video everything in sight!

Update on Angela:
I just finished my Masters degree in Health Administration and have decided it's time to look for a job. So that's what my days consist of. I am also addicted to Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Boxing. I was also planning on running a half marathon in May, but I hurt my foot and haven't been able to train. :( Oh and I like to bake and cook. I was going to do a cooking/baking blog, but we'll see if I really get around to it....although I have all the time in the world to do it right now. I am obsessed with baking/cooking blogs! My favorites right now are Bakerella and Sisters Cafe! They are AMAZING!

So, that sums it up....I'll try to make updates often. :)
